At Reinvent Initiative (RI), we believe that lived experience, professional wisdom, and compassionate guidance are powerful tools for rehabilitation and growth. Our Mentorship Program connects clients with volunteer mentors who offer encouragement, share knowledge, and provide support during their transition into civilian life.
Whether you have successfully reintegrated after incarceration or you are thriving in a career you are passionate about, your story could change someone else's future.
Our mentorship network is an essential part of the RI community. Mentors serve as role models, guides, and motivators, helping clients navigate real-life challenges with confidence. Your level of participation is completely up to you. Whether you are available for a quick check-in, a virtual meeting, or in-person group events, every moment you invest makes a meaningful difference.
This is more than just volunteering—this is an opportunity to change lives, build lasting connections, and strengthen our communities.
Have you been incarcerated and found success in your reentry journey? Your insight is incredibly valuable. Share the lessons you have learned and provide practical, firsthand support to those currently navigating the process. Your story could be the turning point in someone else’s life.
Are you passionate about your profession or life path? Want to help others follow in your footsteps? You do not need to have justice-involved experience to be a powerful mentor. Many of our clients are eager to learn about careers, educational pathways, and life skills.
We welcome professionals from all fields to share advice, offer mentorship, and inspire new beginnings.
(Solicitation of any kind is strictly prohibited. Our program is designed solely for supportive, educational, and uplifting connections.)
We offer flexible options for mentors to get involved in a way that suits their lifestyle:
Virtual Mentorship
Our secure, scheduled video sessions allow mentors and clients to connect from anywhere. These meetings may be one-on-one or in small groups and are coordinated by RI to ensure a safe and productive environment.
In-Person Group Events
RI hosts occasional community-based events and group mentorship gatherings. These provide a more interactive and personal way to share experiences, foster peer learning, and build supportive relationships within the community.
Upcoming events will be posted here soon. Stay tuned!
If you are ready to become a mentor and help transform lives, we invite you to be part of this powerful initiative.
