At Reinvent Initiative (RI), we believe that change starts with community—and dedicated volunteers are the heart of that community. Whether you are looking to give back, gain experience, or be part of something bigger, volunteering with RI is an opportunity to make a real and lasting impact on the lives of individuals transitioning back into society.

Volunteer Opportunities

We offer a wide range of volunteer roles suited to different interests, availability, and experience levels:

Education Support

• Help prepare or review educational materials

• Support clients with digital literacy or resume writing

Workshop Support

• Co-host or assist with job readiness, life skills, or wellness workshops

• Provide logistical support during events or mock interviews

 Event Volunteers

• Help plan or run community events, graduation ceremonies, or mentorship meetups

• Coordinate transportation, supplies, and setup for in-person gatherings

Administrative Support

• Help with outreach, scheduling, follow-ups, and general communications

• Assistance in course and resource updates

• Provide behind-the-scenes support that keeps our programs running smoothly

Resource Distribution

• Assist with preparing and delivering resource packets, hygiene kits, clothing, or food items for clients pre- and post-release
